About Me…
Hi! I’m Kelly, a trained doula offering calm, compassionate support throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. My aim is to help you during one of the most transformative times of your life, offering reassurance, practical support and a friendly, steady presence whenever you need it.
Before becoming a Doula, I worked in corporate, leading the strategy, systems and programs for a global team of recruiters. In early 2026 I was offered an opportunity that allowed me to take some time out and retrain. I wanted to move away from the corporate environment and do something I loved, where I could really make a difference. I’m a big believer in seizing opportunities when they present themselves, so I followed my heart and embraced a new path.
I’ve always loved all things pregnancy, birth and babies, and after having had two gorgeous babies of my own, I knew wanted to support others through that journey too. I chose to retrain as a Doula and undertook my training through Birth Bliss, a Doula UK accredited training provider.
I chose Birth Bliss as their ethos and values felt like a perfect fit for me. I believe pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period are all incredible, personal experiences that deserve empathy and compassionate support. There is no single “right” way to give birth or become a parent, only the way that feels right for you and your family. My approach is always non-judgemental, and I will support you wholeheartedly, however and wherever you choose to welcome your baby.
Outside of work, I am married and my two babies are growing up far too quickly! We live in Wokingham, in Berkshire with our two crazy dogs, Daisy the Boxer, and Henry the English Bulldog - both of which totally rule the house.
I love to spend time with my family, and I am most at peace by the sea. I’m very much a beach-holiday person, and Crete (where the photo above was taken) is one of our favourite places to visit. I also enjoy keeping active, whether that’s lifting weights at the gym or swimming, and I’ve taken part in several charity walks and runs for Parkinson’s UK and Muscular Dystrophy UK - two causes very close to my heart.
When I get a quiet moment, I love to read, anything from crime and thrillers to romance and biographies, with Frieda McFadden currently topping my favourites list. On a sunny afternoon, you can often find me in the garden with my Kindle, and a dog sat on my lap.
If you’re looking for warm, inclusive and unwavering support during your journey into parenthood, I’d love to hear from you and see how I can support you and your growing family.
